In November 2019, Burn Model System team members visited Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) in Anchorage to learn more about the informational needs of Alaska Natives and Alaskans concerning burn injury.  We met with former UW Burn Fellow, Dr. Elisha Brownson – now the ANMC Trauma Director as part of this effort.
